Mental Health is the most important yet the most ignored aspect of one’s Health. Mental Health is a prime concern worldwide and India is not far behind in sharing this. The maxim “There is No Health Without Mental Health” underlies the fact that mental health is an integral and essential component of health.
In 2017, 197.3 million people had Mental Health in India, of which depression and anxiety disorder were on the top. To make it more understandable, one in seven Indian were affected by Mental Disorders of varying severity in 2017.
Stress can be defined as any type of change that causes Physical, Emotional or Psychological Strain. Stress is your body’s response to anything that requires attention or action. Stress can be short term or long term. Chronic Stress can take a Serious toll on Mental and Physical Health.
